What to Expect at Creative Kids Open House: A Night Dedicated to Famous Authors and Illustrators

Open House nights at Creative Kids are always something special. The classrooms are electric, the children are proud, and the families who walk through get a rare, behind-the-scenes look at the learning that fills these rooms every day. This year's Open House takes it even further.

On Thursday, March 26 from 5 to 6 PM, Creative Kids families are invited to spend the evening exploring classrooms themed around Famous Authors and Illustrators. From Eric Carle to Mo Willems to Jan Brett, each classroom has been dedicated to the work of a beloved children's author or illustrator, and the children have been learning about their stories, their artistic styles, and the ideas that made their books so memorable.

What You'll See

As you walk from classroom to classroom, you'll find your child's artwork and writing projects on display, inspired by the authors and illustrators they've been studying. The teaching team will be present to share what the children have been working on and to give you a feel for the curriculum your child is experiencing every day.
