Professional Development Conference 2025

Creative Kids recently participated in a full-day Professional Development Conference, designed to support the growth, knowledge, and well-being of our incredible teaching team. The center was closed to families so our teachers could focus on a full schedule of interactive workshops and hands-on sessions centered around teaching excellence.

During our recent Teacher Training Day, our team had the opportunity to select from a variety of workshop sessions designed to strengthen their classroom practice and personal growth.

Except for the mandatory Regulatory Updates session, teachers chose their own paths for the day, attending workshops that matched their roles, interests, and classroom needs. Options included:

• Toddler Activities and Play

• Breathwork and Mindfulness in the Classroom

• Early Intervention

• Teaching Executive Functioning Skills

• Supporting Parents by Teaching Boundaries at Home

• Financial Planning for Teachers

This flexible format allowed each teacher to take a deep dive into the topics most relevant to them. Whether they explored hands-on toddler engagement or strategies for supporting parents at home, each session offered tools to bring back to their classrooms right away.

Our teaching team left the day feeling empowered and ready to bring new insights to the children and families they serve every day.

One of the most powerful parts of the day was a session focused entirely on teacher wellness. We believe our teachers thrive when they feel supported, and this time allowed them to recharge, reflect, and reconnect with their passion for teaching.

To wrap up, our team gathered for a clear and thoughtful overview of regulatory updates, ensuring we continue to meet the highest standards in child care and safety.
