Behind the Scenes: What Our Teaching Team Does on In-Service Day

Today, the classrooms at Creative Kids are quiet. The kids are home, but the work is far from over.
March 27 is our spring Teacher In-Service Day, a full school day dedicated entirely to the people who show up for your children every single morning. While our families enjoy a well-deserved day off, our teaching team is here: training, preparing, refreshing, and getting the center ready for the final stretch of the school year.
What Happens on an In-Service Day
In-service days are one of the most important investments Creative Kids makes in the quality of our program. Here's what our team spends the day doing:
Professional training: Our teachers participate in workshops and continuing education sessions covering topics like child development, best practices in early learning, and curriculum enrichment.
Classroom preparation: Teachers use this uninterrupted time to plan upcoming units, refresh classroom environments, and get creative about what's coming next for their students.
Center maintenance: Deep cleaning, repairs, and refreshing the space so everything is in top shape when the children walk back through the door.
The teachers who walk into your child's classroom every day are constantly growing, learning, and improving so that your children get the very best. In-service days are how that happens.
We'll see you all back bright and ready on Monday!
